  • 1 large soup bone
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. stew meat
  • Adolph's meat tenderizer
  • 4 to 6 potatoes, cut in squares
  • 2 to 4 carrots, thin sliced
  • 2 to 4 stalks celery
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can each: peas, green beans and corn
  • 1 or 2 cans tomatoes or V-8 juice

Directions

    Boil bone 3 or 4 hours. Add water as needed. In last hour, add veggies, onion and stew meat sprinkled with Adolph's meat tenderizer. Last 30 minutes, add canned tomatoes or you can use V-8 vegetable juice. Heat through.
