  • 1 lb. lean beef stew, browned in oil
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 onion, cut in bite size pieces
  • 3 to 4 carrots, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1/4 c. Heinz 57 Sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in large pot and add enough water to cover.

    Cook slowly about 2 hours.
