Ingredients
- 1 lb. stew (beef) meat
- 5 to 6 baking potatoes
- 5 to 6 carrots
- 1 whole (small) onion
- 1/2 c. olive/corn oil
- 1/2 or 1 pt. water
- 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Cut stew meat in small bite size pieces.

2Brown the meat in large frying pan with 1/2 cup olive or corn oil.

3Cut up potatoes in quarter sizes and slice carrots in bite size pieces.

4After meat is browned, add 1/2 cup flour to meat (still in pan) and work in with grease.

5Add 1/2 to 1 pint cold water to make gravy. (Salt and pepper to taste.)

6Put all (meat and gravy, carrots and potatoes) into Dutch oven with a whole onion.

7Bake at 350° for an hour or 3 to 4 hours on low in a crock-pot.

8Serve with biscuits.
