- 3 lb. meat (beef)
- 2 onions
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 large bay leaf
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 3 tsp. ketchup
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master for color
- potatoes
- carrots
Directions

1Brown meat in 2 tablespoons bacon fat.

2Cover with boiling water (amount as you like it).

3Leave onion whole and put the 3 cloves into the onion.

4Chop the other onion and put all ingredients in with the meat.

5Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

6Cool and leave in refrigerator for 2 days.

7When ready to eat, skim fat off and add potatoes and carrots.
