  • 2 lb. stewing beef or boneless chuck roast
  • 2 c. potatoes, cubed
  • 2 c. celery, sliced
  • 2 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 c. carrots, sliced
  • 6 (12 oz.) cans V-8
  • 3 to 6 Tbsp. tapioca
  • salt and pepper or seasoned salt to taste
