- 4 lb. beef chuck
- 2/3 c. cooking oil
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. red wine
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, halved
- 2 Jamaica
- 2 tsp. red hot
- 3 lb. small onions
- 1 Goya beef bouillon
Directions

1Cut the meat into 1-inch squares and saute in oil with onions. Add all ingredients.

2Add 1 can of tomato sauce with wine.

3Bring to a quick boil and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.

4Add potatoes after 1 1/2 hours.

5Let it cook another 30 minutes.

6The final stew mixture should be thick.

7Taste it for seasoning before serving.

8Makes 12 servings.
