  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 5 medium potatoes, cut in half
  • 2 c. carrots, cut in 1-inch chunks
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. sliced celery, cut up
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Combine raw meat with all other ingredients.

    Put in crock-pot or 3-quart casserole.

    Cover with lid. Bake at 275° for 5 hours or on low in crock-pot all day.

    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
