- 1 1/2 lb. boneless stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 5 medium potatoes, cut in half
- 2 c. carrots, cut in 1-inch chunks
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. sliced celery, cut up
- 2 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine raw meat with all other ingredients.

2Put in crock-pot or 3-quart casserole.

3Cover with lid. Bake at 275° for 5 hours or on low in crock-pot all day.

4Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
