- 26 ounces beef, cubed
- 3 potatoes, pared and quartered
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 14 tablespoon pepper
- 3 cups water or 3 cups broth
Directions

1Place all ingredients in a baking dish or casserole.

2Stir to blend thoroughly.

3Add water to cover, approx 2-3 cups.

4Cover dish with lid or foil.

5Place on rack.

6Set thermostat at 150 deg c or 300 deg f and cook 2-3 hours.
