Beef Stew (Minced)

Ingredients
- 750 g minced beef
- 4 carrots
- 907 g green peas
- 1 onion
- 2 potatoes
- mushroom
- beef gravy granules
- oil
Directions

1Chop carrots.

2Peel and chop onion.

3Peel and dice potatoes.

4Chop mushrooms.

5Add all vegetables to a large stewing pot and cover with water.

6Adjust amount to how thick you would like the stew to be.

7I fill the pot so that it just covers all of the vegetables.

8Fry the minced beef slowly on a low heat until all of the meat has browned.

9Add the meat to the vegetables.

10Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.

11Add gravy granules to the mixture gradually until you have reached the desired thickness.

12If your stew is too moist drain off some of the water and add more gravy.

13If it's too thick add more water.

14Serve hot with dumplings or savoury pancakes.

15Can be frozen immediately after cooling.
