  • 1 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 8 oz. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 carrots, diced or shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown meat in oil in skillet.

    Transfer meat to 2-quart casserole dish.

    Combine all other ingredients; mix with meat. Bake at 350° for 2 1/2 hours.
