- 5 lb. hamburger
- 2 Tbsp. whole mustard seed
- 2 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
- 4 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.

2Cover and refrigerate. Remove once a day for 3 days and knead well for 5 minutes.

3On the 4th day, divide mixture into 6 equal rolls or logs.

4Lay on rack in broiler pan or drip pan.

5Bake 9 hours at 160°.

6Turn over in about 4 1/2 hours.

7At 9th hour, wrap in paper towels to remove grease.

8Wrap each roll in Handi-Wrap or freezer wrap. Refrigerate or freeze or eat now.

9These keep well or great snacks.
