- 1 lb lean beef, cubed (top round)
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 34 tablespoon onion, chopped
- 1 lb mushroom, sliced
- 14 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon dried basil
- 14 cup white wine
- 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 6 cups cooked noodles
Directions

1Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non-stick skillet & saute onions for 2 minutes.

2Add beef and saute for additional 5 minutes.

3Turn to brown evenly.

4remove from pan & keep hot.

5Add remaining oil to pan; saute mushrooms.

6Add beef and onions to pan with seasonings.

7Add wine, yogurt and gently stir.

8Heat, but do not boil.

9Serve with cooked noodles.
