- 1 1/2 lb. beef tenderloin
- 1 or 2 onions
- 8 to 10 medium size mushrooms
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. sour cream
- grated nutmeg
Directions

1Cut beef into strips about 2 1/2-inch long 1/2-inch thick. Slice onions and mushrooms finely.

2Melt 2 tablespoons butter in frying pan, cook onions slowly until golden brown, remove from pan, keep warm.

3Add a little more butter, cook mushrooms about 5 minutes, add to onions.

4Melt remaining butter.

5When foaming, put in about 1/2 the strips of steak, fry quickly about 5 minutes until brown on both sides, remove.

6Repeat with remaining steak. Replace all meat and vegetables in pan, shake over heat adding salt and pepper and nutmeg, add sour cream.

7Heat until it nearly boils.

8Serve with rice or noodles.
