Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 1 lb. sirloin steak
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 onion
- 3/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. beef bouillon or broth
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. warm sour cream
Directions

1Cut steak into 1-inch strips.

2Saute quickly in 1 tablespoon oil until brown.

3Remove from pan and keep warm.

4Add 2 tablespoons oil to the pan and saute mushrooms and onions about 5 to 8 minutes.

5Add steak, bouillon and wine; simmer about 15 to 20 minutes.

6Add basil, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

7Simmer 5 minutes. Slowly add warm sour cream.

8Serve over noodles.
