  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. egg noodles
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 1/2 to 3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. A.1.
  • 1 tsp. dried chives
  • 1 tsp. dried onion bits
  • 8 to 10 pieces sliced mushrooms, cut in 1/4's
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. water

    Sprinkle salt and pepper in skillet.

    Crumble ground beef and brown at 350° (medium heat) for 10 minutes; stir.

    Drain grease and turn down heat to 250° (medium/low).

    Add all the noodles and dried chives, onion bits and water.

    Cook at 250° for 10 to 15 minutes until noodles are tender.
