Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 lb. chuck, cut in 1-inch squares
- 1 c. or more Burgundy wine
- 1 stick oleo
- 6 medium onions, sliced
- 1 small can mushrooms, cut up
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
- a good pinch of thyme
- a good pinch of marjoram
- 1 beef bouillon cube (same amount if recipe cut in half)
Directions

1Brown onions in stick of oleo.

2Remove onions and brown meat. Add to meat, flour and seasonings.

3Dissolve bouillon cube in 3/4 cup hot water.

4Add wine to this and then add to meat.

5Cook on low heat for 2 hours or until tender.

6Then put in onion and mushrooms for 1 hour.

7Serve on rice or noodles.

8Serves 8.
