- 2 lb. sirloin steak
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Pound sirloin or tenderloin very thin and cut into near finger-shaped pieces.

2Melt 1/2 the butter in a large heavy pan. Add onion , cook and stir until onion is tender.

3Add beef, cook quickly, about 5 minutes, browning on all sides.

4Set aside. Saute mushrooms in remaining butter.

5Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and add to beef.

6Add cream, heat and season delicately to taste.

7Serve over buttered noodles.
