- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz. mushrooms
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 to 3 tsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Brown steak in small amount of cooking oil.

2Add onions, soup, mushrooms and seasonings.

3Simmer until meat is tender (covered). Thicken gravy to desired consistency by adding cornstarch in small amount of water.

4Just before serving, stir in sour cream while still hot.

5(Do not boil, sour cream will curdle.)

6Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
