- 2 lb. thin steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce (16 oz.)
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can or cup water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Brown steak in oil, then add onion.

2Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, water, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.

3Add small amount of sauce to 1 cup of sour cream; blend well, then add to meat and sauce.

4May be thickened with a little Wondra flour.

5Serve over noodles or rice.
