- 2 lb. steak in finger strips
- 6 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms (fresh or canned)
- 4 Tbsp. tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Brown meat in 3 tablespoons butter (do not cook through).

2Set aside.

3Saute onion in 3 tablespoons butter for 3 minutes.

4Add mushrooms; saute until tender.

5Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, beef broth and sherry; mix well.

6Return beef.

7Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

8Add sour cream and blend.
-
9Heat 2 minutes; do not boil.

10Serve over rice or noodles.
