  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cubed
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 7 dashes Tabasco
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Preheat electric skillet to 380°.

    Dredge meat cubes in flour mixed with salt and pepper.

    Brown meat in 2 tablespoons butter. Add chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms; brown slightly.

    Lower heat to 300° or lower; add vinegar, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces and pepper.

    Mix with meat. Cover; cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.

    Serve over noodles, spaghetti or rice.

    Serve with a nice green salad.
