Beef-Stuffed Cabbage

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can tomatoes (4 c.)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • 4 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 c. bread crumbs

    Brown beef and add tomatoes, onion and celery. Stir until well mixed. Place a layer of cabbage on bottom of greased 2-quart casserole. Spoon layer of meat mixture over, then add another layer of cabbage. Continue alternating layers, ending with cabbage. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 350°.
