- 1 lb. sirloin beef, cut 1-inch thick
- 3/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
Directions

1Cut meat into bite-sized cubes.

2Combine remaining ingredients; pour over beef cubes and let stand at room temperature one hour or in refrigerator several hours.

3Thread cubes of meat onto a skewer.

4(Pineapple chunks may be alternated with the beef cubes.)

5Broil about 3 inches from heat 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, or cook over grill or hibachi.

6Serve hot as an appetizer or with rice as a main course.
