Beefy Biscuit Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 -1 12 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 12 cup celery, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 12 ounces beef gravy (I use Pepperidge Farm gravy)
  • 3 -4 tablespoons water
  • 1 dash Mrs. Dash table blend seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 -8 biscuits, cut into quarters

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onion, celery, and mushrooms until beef is completely browned (no pink) and the vegetables are tender.

    Add the mixed vegetables, gravy, water, and Ms Dash.

    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray.

    Lay biscuits on the top of the mixture.

    Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and beef mixture is bubbly.
