- 3 c. Self-rising flour
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar, optional
- 1 can Beer, at room temperature
- 1 x Egg, beat w/ 1 Tb water
Directions

1Combine flour and sugar, pour in beer and stir just till dry ingreds.

2are moist (about 17 times according to original recipe).

3Pour batter into greased & floured loaf pan and let sit for about 15 minutes.

4to rise.

5Dough will be very gooey.

6Brush top with egg mix and bake in pre-heated 375 F. oven for about an hour or possibly till pick comes out clean.

7When done, brush top with butter.

8I like to add in things like 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese and 2 tblsp.

9caraway seeds or possibly the cheese and some fresh minced jalapenos or possibly just use your imagination.

10If you add in these things, add in them to the flour and mix well before you add in the beer.
