  • 3 c. self-rising flour (must be self-rising)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 can or bottle of beer (any type)
  • 1 egg

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

    Mix ingredients in bowl until smooth.

    Place into prepared bread pan.

    Bake for 1-1/2 hours. This is a heavy bread and is like sour dough bread.
