- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer (not ale)
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and beer. Pour mixture into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

2Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

3Remove from oven. Make slits across top with sharp knife.

4Pour butter mixture on top.

5Continue baking 15 more minutes.

6Done when knife inserted in center comes out clean.
