  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beer (room temperature)
  • 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • additional butter for top (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix ingredients.

    Pour into well-greased 9 x 5-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Pour additional butter on top and bake for 15 more minutes to brown. Serve warm or cool.
