  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer (room temperature, but not flat)
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    Mix with spoon by hand flour, sugar and beer.

    Pour into a greased loaf pan and let rise 5 minutes.

    Pour the melted butter or margarine over dough and bake 50 minutes in 375° oven.
