  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 (16 oz.) can beer (12 oz. if at sea level)
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl.

    Stir until it makes a batter.

    Pour into loaf pan.

    Dot top with butter.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Serve hot or cold.
