  • 4 pounds beef cubed
  • 1 pint beer
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 each onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 2 each garlic cloves chopped

Directions

    Melt butter in large skillet and saute onions until tender.

    Dredge beef cubes in flour and brown them in a separate skillet with oil and butter.

    Add browned meat, salt, pepper and garlic to onions.

    Add enough beer to cover.

    Cover tightly and simmer until meat is tender.
