Beer Butt Chicken

  • whole chicken
  • 1/2 cup hellmann's or best foods real mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 can beer

    Preheat grill to 250°.

    Combine 1 tablespoon rub, Hellmann's(R) or Best Foods(R) Real Mayonnaise, garlic and paprika. Lift skin of breast and stuff with mayonnaise mixture. Rub remaining 2 tablespoons of poultry rub on outside of skin.

    Remove 1/2 the amount of liquid from beer can, place can on a sheet pan on grill. Place chicken on top of can and close lid to grill. Cook 1 hour or until chicken is throughly cooked.
