- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cups Half-and-half
- 1- 1/2 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 6 ounces, fluid Beer
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
Directions

1In a saucepan over medium low heat, whisk together flour and butter until butter melts and you form a roux.

2Add the half-and-half and continue to whisk until sauce thickens.

3Stir in cheese then add the beer, continuing to heat and reduce until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.

4Season with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, mustard powder, and salt.
