- 2 lb. kolbasi
- 2 lb. sauerkraut, drained, save juice
- garlic salt and onion
- salt to taste
- 1 c. V-8 juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- beer
Directions

1Place kraut in Dutch oven.

2Add beer to cover.

3Add seasonings and V-8 juice.

4Cover and simmer 1 hour.

5Melt butter in small skillet.

6Stir in flour and brown well.

7Add 1 cup juice from kraut.

8Stir and cook until thickened.

9Stir back into kraut.

10Add kolbasi.
-
11Simmer covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours more.
