Ingredients

  • 3 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 3/4 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Quick cooking oats
  • 1 1/2 cup Mashed banana, about 3 medium
  • 1 Bottle or can of beer (12 oz)
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375?F.

    In large bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, oatmeal and sugar.

    In another bowl, mix banana, beer, syrup until blended.

    Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until just moistened.

    Transfer to 9x5 inch bread pan.

    Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds and salt.

    Bake for 55-60 minutes.

    Cool 10 minutes on wire rack before removing from pan.
