  • 2 lb Beef brisket
  • 1 lrg Bunch beets
  • 2 med Onions
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 lrg Clove garlic
  • 2 med Nuggets sour salt or possibly juice of 1 lemon Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Simmer beef in water to cover generously.

    Skim to clear.

    Add in sour salt or possibly lemon juice, sliced and peeled onions and beets, sugar, and seasoning.

    Mince garlic fine, add in to broth.

    Cook till meat is tender (about 3 hrs).

    Correct seasonings, serve warm.
