  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 peck uncooked beets

Directions

    Cut tops off beets; cook until tender.

    Peel and cut beets in size wanted.

    Boil vinegar and sugar together.
  4. 4
    Add cooked beets; bring to boil.
  5. 5
    Pack in hot jars; finish filling jar with syrup. Seal; put jars in a 250° oven for 10 minutes.
