  • 4 c. sugar
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 2 c. water (which beets were cooked in)
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Cook beets until skin comes off.

    Strain juice and save some for canning.

    Put sugar, vinegar, strained beet water and salt in container.

    Let come to a boil.
  5. 5
    Add cooked beets and cook 10 minutes.

    Can with beets in liquid.
