  • 6 small raw beet root heads with skin
  • 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 3 tbsp corn or olive oil
  • 1 small lemon
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper or chili or both
  • 2 tsp cummin
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 liter water for boiling

    boil beet root with skin for 20 minutes or until it's easy to poke with a knife but not too soft.

    wash with tap water to make the beet root cool down and peel them.

    use a glove or something cuz there will be a lot of purple colour coming out
  4. 4
    cut beets into small cubes and season with rest of ingredients, refrigerate before serving if you want
