- 1 can beets, drained well and liquid reserved
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. raspberry Jell-O
- 1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. onion, grated
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Mash beets.

2Combine reserved liquid with enough water to make 3 cups.

3Heat and add sugar.

4Add Jell-O and gelatin; dissolve.

5Let mixture cool.

6Pour vinegar over beets.

7Fold beets, onion, and mustard seed into jello mixture.

8Allow to cool and gel.
