- 1/3 lb bacon, cooked
- 1 lb potato, finely grated
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter
Directions

1Grate the potatoes if not already grated.

2Melt the bacon to release some of its fat.

3Add the onions and cook in the bacon fat until brown.

4Crack the egg and stir it and all the ingredients except the butter into a baking dish.

5Scatter pieces of butter on top.

6Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes.

7Serve hot with sour cream and greens.
