- 1 c. scalded milk
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast in 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. raisins
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Mix scalded milk, butter, salt and sugar in a large bowl.

2Add beaten eggs.

3Add a cup of flour, then yeast, then the rest of the flour.

4Add raisins.

5Knead; let rise to double in size.

6Knead. Shape into loaves.

7Put into loaf pans.

8Let rise to double in size.

9Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, then sit back and enjoy.
