- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. lukewarm milk
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over warm milk.

2Stir to dissolve.

3Beat egg yolks and add to yeast mixture with vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and sugar.

4Add to liquid ingredients.

5Stir in melted butter and combine thoroughly.

6Beat the egg whites until stiff. Carefully fold into batter and let mixture stand in a warm place until it doubles in bulk.

7Use 1/2 cup mix per waffle.
