- 2 cans tart pie cherries (not filling)
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. tapioca
- 3 or 4 drops almond extract
- 10 drops red food coloring
Directions

1Drain cherries, but reserve 3/4 cup juice.

2Combine cherries, juice, sugar, tapioca, almond extract and red food coloring.

3Put in a large 9 or 10-inch unbaked pie crust.

4Dot with butter and lattice topping.

5Bake at 400° for 50 to 55 minutes.
