  • 1 cup butter(or substitute).
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • firmly packed.
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of
  • tarter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  • 6 quarts of popped corn.

    Bring first 5 ingredents to a boil, stirring constantly. Then let them boil 5 minutes without stirring. Add the vinilla and soda, stir well, and pour over the 6 quarts of popped corn. Put in baking pans in 250 degree oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
