  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 5 eggs, separate whites, set aside
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 oz. vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
  • 4 c. pecans
  • 16 oz. cherries (in jar, red and green)
  • 16 oz. candied pineapple

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Add 1 1/4 cups flour and the flavorings. Mix well.

    Set aside.

    Mix 1/2 cup flour with nuts and fruits; stir to well mixed.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Fold into batter, then pour over nuts and fruit.

    Grease and flour Bundt pan.

    Start in cold oven at 250°.

    Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
