Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 c. unsifted flour
- 1 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt; blend and cool.

2Add eggs.

3Sprinkle yeast in the lukewarm water; stir until dissolved.

4Combine with first mixture.

5Add flour; blend well. Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 4 hours (can keep a week to 10 days in refrigerator and use as needed).

6Roll dough into shapes or cut out.

7Place in greased pan; let rise in warm place for 3 hours.

8Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
