- 3/4 c. rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small red pepper, julienned
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Directions

1Dissolve sugar in water and add rest of ingredients.

2Cover with plastic wrap in glass bowl and refrigerate for 1 to 3 hours. Drain liquid and serve.
