- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 ounces chocolate unsweetened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup flour, all-purpose sifted
- 1/2 cup walnuts chopped, optional
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F (180C).

2In medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate.

3Remove from heat; stir in sugar.

4Blend in eggs one at a time.

5Add vanilla.

6Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.

7Spread in greased 8x8x2-inch pan.

8Bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.

9Be careful not to overbake.

10Cool completely.

11Cut into 16 squares.
