  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces or use peanut butter pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. Kretschner wheat germ
  • 3/4 c. quick oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. snipped, pitted dates

Directions

    Melt chocolate and peanut butter in a large saucepan over low heat.

    Add all remaining ingredients, mixing well.

    Shape quickly with buttered hands into 8 bars, about 3-inches long.

    Wrap end bar in plastic wrap and refrigerate

    until firm.
